Avant is starting off the new year with a hot single! We became familiar with his smooth R&B voice in 2000 when he released his first album,
My Thoughts. Now, 3 years after his last album, he is returning to the scene and making the caliber of music we expect from him.
"Best Friend" reveals his undeniable attraction toward his female friend. Avant's voice layers perfectly over a haunting synth beat as he goes through a mental tug of war to decide if he should cross the thin line between friends and lovers.
