New Video: Kendrick Lamar featuring Drake "Poetic Justice"

Kendrick Lamar quietly released the video for "Poetic Justice" today. A standout track from his wildly successful 2012 album good kid m.A.A.d city, "Poetic Justice" paints a well-versed portrait of Lamar's affections for a particular woman.

In the video, he protects the life of a beautiful girl during a street brawl from a stray bullet while Drake keeps it cool (as usual) with a woman in his bed. The video is dark and brooding, yet has striking visuals.

I love how the prominent women in the video are dark-skinned African-American women. Not to knock any other race or anyone's skin complexion, but in today's videos, many women of other races or mixed heritages are usually the "leading" women, so it is refreshing and healthy to see these images :)
