Just Leave Them Alone: 4 Singers People Should Stop Harassing

The over-the-top attacks on these singers need to stop. Whether it has been a controversial tweet, a picture, or a not-so-good single by them, many people have dismissed the ladies below as "flops" and "haters", among other derogatory terminology.

In my humble opinion, it is one thing to dislike an artist. We are all entitled to that right. But, it is another thing to spew hateful, harmful, and heinous words toward a person. Yes, they are people like us and they get their feelings hurt, make bad decisions, and cry like we do. Imagine that...

Some of you may not like me for this. But it's all good.

Here are 4 singers people should stop harassing:

1) Keyshia Cole
Yes, I am serious. I know Keyshia has said some pretty wild stuff concerning 2/3 members of Destiny's Child. And, supposedly it is a grave sin of some sort to dislike Beyoncé, her songs, her actions, or anyone in her "circle". Most people believe that Keyshia could learn to state her opinion in a less harsh way.

While that may be true, you have to look at who Keyshia is as a person and how she grew up. Girlfriend had a rough life and more than likely had to be straightforward and cutthroat just to survive. All the money in the world is not going to change who she innately is. And, is she not entitled to her opinion like we are? And, is it really necessary to send her hate messages and death threats on Twitter? If you don't like her, ignore her..

2) Ashanti
Come one people. If you were a female under the age of 40 in the early 2000s, you know damn well you were down with Ashanti and the Murda Inc crew. Yes, her career has taken some negative blows in the past few years, but is it really necessary to call her a flop all the time? And, can we ditch the sideburn jokes? No, she may not have the vocal prowess of some other female singers, but she has set Billboard records and a reported net worth of 40million dollars. Sounds like a good life to me. Leave her alone...

3) Keri Hilson
Keri is yet another victim of the infamous Beyhive. Since she reportedly threw some shade at Bey, Keri has been under constant attack every time she gets on Twitter. If she really doesn't like Bey, maybe there is some reason why (outside of "jealousy"). Who knows? But it is to the point now that the constant jokes and tweets that tear her apart are really starting to hurt her. Enough is enough people, leave Keri alone.

4)Ciara
Ciara and Ashanti pretty much have the same thing going on. Ciara was wildly popular and helped usher in the Crunk n' B era in 2004 with "Goodies". She was everywhere and blowing up super fast. But, in the past few years, she has had a few shaky singles in her career and some people have dubbed her "C-Error". SMH. I like Ciara, she is gorgeous, can dance, and has gracefully avoided tabloids. And, I had the pleasure of seeing her in concert and she puts on one hell of a show. Leave her alone please

Instead of wasting time messing with people you don't like, focus your energy on positive things :)
